Anya Hughes
Clinical Psychologist Perth
Anya Hughes is a Clinical Psychologist whose training began in Ireland, where she worked in primary care services supporting adults with mild to moderate mental health issues. She later gained experience in a specialised Autism unit for children before relocating to Australia.
Since moving to Australia, Anya has worked in a variety of roles, including with children and adolescents at risk of mental health concerns and with patients requiring psychological support for pain management. She completed a Master of Clinical Psychology at Curtin University in 2022.

At Ashcliffe Psychology, Anya works with a broad range of presentations, with a focus on anxiety disorders, mood disorders, trauma, addictions, domestic violence, chronic health conditions, and sleep disturbances. She tailors evidence-based interventions to the needs of each client and is experienced in using:

When Anya’s not working…
Outside of her clinical role, Anya enjoys yoga (she is a qualified Level 1 yoga teacher), ocean swimming, nature walks, and reading. She has also recently taken up surfing.
